Resent Research Activities

                 

The Board of Trustees comprises eminent Nigerians of reputable character and integrity who share a common goal towards achieving sustainable development amongst the poor and vulnerable in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. 

Hon. Justice (Mrs) I. C. Nzeako (President, SFH Board of Trustees)
Hon. Justice (Mrs) I. C. Nzeako is a former Justice, Court of Appeal, Jos Division. She is a founding trustee of SFH, President Emeritus, National Council of Women, Nigeria. Previously, Vice President, International Council of Women (ICW) Paris, France. National President, National Council for Women Society (NCWS), Nigeria
She was Delegate to United Nations (UN) Conferences on Women & Development: Copenhagen, Nairobi, On Population – Mexico, On Children – Vienna, etc.
She has been an NGO Volunteer for over 3 decades of continuous promotion and participation in voluntary social services as a member of NGOs and professional bodies, both nationally and internationally.


Dr. Shima Kaimom Gyoh


DR Gyoh is a surgeon by profession, and held various positions including: Chief Medical Director, Jos University Teaching Hospital (1987-1988), Director-General (Permanent Secretary), Federal Ministry of Health and Social Services (1988 – 1994), Chairman, Executive Board, West African Health Community (1989 – 1991). Dr. Gyoh is now in private medical practice in Benue State.

Mr. Kunle Elebute

A Chartered Accountant by profession, fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and Partner in KPMG Professional Services (a firm of chartered accountants). His is also a Member, Board of Governors, Grange Primary & Secondary School, Ikeja, Lagos. He has great interest and experience in social work. He has been supportive of SFH organization development since 1993.

 



Dr. Ahmed I. Yakasai


A fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He has been strongly involved in the activities of the PSN over the years and has served the Society as Deputy President. He runs Pharmaplus Limited, a wholesale practice, and Pharmaplus consulting. He is a consultant to NAFDAC and NDLEA.


Mrs. Diezani K. Alison-Madueke


Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She was formerly with Lead Ventures Representation (JV) Adviser – Lagos of Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria Ltd. She joined the board of Trustees of SFH in 2005. Currently, she is the Honourable Minister of Transport of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.



Mr. Bright Ekweremadu

The Managing Director (MD) of SFH. Joined SFH in 1993 and rose to the position of MD in January, 2005

 

 

Population Services International (PSI) Members of SFH Board of Trustees

The following members of SFH Board of Trustees are representatives of Population Services International (PSI). SFH is an affiliate of PSI, a not-for-profit organization based in Washington DC with affiliates in over 45 countries across the world. These trustees bring in their expertise in programme management and fund generation experience to support the work of SFH across the country for the good of the poor and vulnerable in Nigeria:
