RESEARCH
AND EVALUATION DIVISION
SFH’s behaviour change programmes have always been evidence based,
driven and guided by research. In striving for excellence, SFH conducts
several surveys and studies to provide data for strategic programme
decision making, monitoring success and evaluating impact. These facilitate
the overall performance, efficiency and success of programme interventions
of the organisation and communicate to our partners and collaborators
what we have done, what we are doing and what we intend to do.
Research works to build capacity in social marketing, communication
research, qualitative and quantitative research methods and data management
and analysis such that all SFH partners and collaborators can independently
produce evidence that is useful to internal and external decision makers.
Generally, the research unit works closely with all SFH programme and
non programme divisions to:
- Provide
input into communications, providing information for the development
of messages, decision making and IEC materials.
- Provide
information in the development of campaigns, and proposals (formative
research)
- Monitor
and Evaluate SFH interventions
- Produce
and disseminate reports of surveys conduct
