The MD, Bright Ekweremadu introduced the Management staff to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu who was in the company of his aides. Thereafter, he gave a brief history of SFH, its activities, programme areas, achievements and present challenges.

The Deputy Senate President pledged the support of the national assembly and urged SFH to seek for support and collaboration with the state governments and the wives of governors. He further stated that the national assembly will pass legislations that will encourage the operation of genuine Non Governmental Organisations in Nigeria.
