HIV/AIDS


Over the years, the organization has supported the Federal Governments' efforts in responding to HIV & AIDS cause through its wide range of community intervention programmmes developed to suit specific target audiences.

Specifically, it has adopted various strategies to motivate its audience through the use of mass media, mid-mass media and interpersonal communication to achieve behaviour change.

SFH in its own quota contributes to sustainable development through its programme areas. These are research and evidence based and across several of the millennium development goals (MDGS).

As seen in MDG goals; 3,4,5,6,7,& 8, SFH strives to promote Gender Equity, Reduce Maternal & Child mortality and improve maternal health care, combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases through the adoption of healthy behaviours. This is achieved through developing partnerships for global development.
