The
Society for Family Health was recently appointed a Principal Recipient
(PR) for the Round 5 (HIV) of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis
and Malaria (GFATM).
The round 5 of the GFATM is expected to run in two phases for a five
(5) year period and budgeted at over $180,000,000.
This
round 5 proposal, titled “Scale
up of Comprehensive HIV & AIDS Treatment, Care and Support in Nigeria”,
has a single goal –“Reduced morbidity and mortality from
HIV/AIDS in Nigeria”.
